WATER LEVEL METER WM-200 - 200 Feet
Features and Benefits - The water leveling tool features a flexible tape/cable for easy winding and unwinding, even in cold temperatures. Its waterproof design ensures durability in various environments. Permanent depth markings come with extra tubing protection for precise measurements. The strong 80lb base magnet allows the device to be placed at any angle on metal sections of boreholes, wells, or standpipes. With three bright LED signals, readings can be viewed from any angle, even in bright sunlight, up to 40 feet away. The tool is powered by (2) 9-volt batteries, providing maximum usage between battery changes. Its lightweight and portable design makes it pocket-sized for convenience. The ergonomically designed handle enhances ease of use, while the probe can be quickly attached to the magnetic base when not in use or can hang from the handle prior to use. The magnetic base also allows for easy fastening on any metal surface for quick access. An On/Off switch helps conserve battery life. Additionally, a power drill nut driver attachment can be used to speed up the winding and unwinding of the tape/cable, preventing user fatigue. Operation of this water leveling tool can be done at any angle, easily attaching to any well, borehole, or standpipe that features a metal surface. Each water leveling tool includes a metal probe fitted to a flexible cable wire tape wound onto a hand-held reel with an ergonomic handle. The cable connects to an electronic circuit, three LED signal indicators, and two 9-volt batteries with an On/Off switch. The sensor probe has an insulated gap that acts as a switch, completing the circuit upon contact with water. The cable consists of a non-stretch flexible wire/tape with copper conductors marked in 4” intervals or 10cm intervals, depending on the unit. For more accurate measurements, users can utilize the ruler on the unit or the provided metal ruler. When the probe is lowered down the borehole, standpipe, or well, caution should be taken to keep the cable wire away from sharp edges. The probe can be lowered by hand or with the drill attachment. Upon making contact with water, the three LEDs illuminate, allowing a reading to be taken from the measuring cable at the port level to record the depth. Ensure the unit is turned off afterward to conserve battery life. For measuring the depth to the closest ½”, users should utilize the cap’s ½” notched lines as a guide, placing the wire along the rubber sides and counting notches. For example, 2 notches equal 1” and 6 notches equal 3”. The distance between LED’s along the rubber sides is 4” (8 notches). Ruler markings on the magnetic base or provided ruler can be used for greater accuracy once the closest footage distance is noted. To wind the water leveling tool cable, users can do so manually by hand or with the drill attachment. Specifications include a power supply of 2 x 9 Volt Batteries (included), measuring cable/wire made from flex silicone with copper. The tool features an On/Off button, visual indicators with 3 LEDs, and a magnetic base with an 80 lb holding capacity. It is rated for outdoor use and is waterproof, with a battery life allowing for over 1000 readings and 20 hours of LEDs staying on. The operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 55°C (-40°F to 130°F), with a response time of less than 100 milliseconds. Accessories include a carry bag, drill attachment (nut driver), wig-nut (handle replacement when using drill), and ball handle (only on 60M, 80M, 200ft & 250ft units). Markings are every 4” for feet and 10cm for meters (use included rulers for accuracy). The probe diameter is approximately 20mm with varying weights and sizes depending on the length, such as WM-30: 2.3lbs, 3.8”x3.8”x7.9” for 30ft length.
